Hey everyone!

I was catching up on NPR today (haven't listened in a while!), and they mentioned a really cool initiative called TableTalk https://www.wmfe.org/table-talk-at-wmfe . It's a one-day, community-wide conversation.

This instantly resonated with what we're trying to achieve here at Assembly on Washington (AOW). We all know connections are vital for a thriving community, but it can be tough to find the time and space to have meaningful conversations with our neighbors.

TableTalk is all about that! They bring people together in small groups to discuss local issues and opportunities. It's a fantastic way to share ideas, build relationships, and feel more invested in our community.

While I was learning more about TableTalk, I stumbled upon some interesting stats from their last event.

Guess what? People are craving more connection! It seems like we're all on the same page here.

This desire to connect is exactly what AOW is built on. We want to create a platform for open dialogue and collaboration. Whether it's attending an event, joining an online discussion, or simply reaching out to a fellow member, AOW is here to help you connect with like-minded people who care about our community.

Looking for some inspiration? Check out some of the recent articles we've posted on the AOW website. They explore a variety of topics relevant to our community, and we encourage you to share your thoughts and experiences in the comments section.

Let's use this growing desire for connection to build a stronger, more vibrant community together!
