Assembly On Washington (AOW) features service providers who are independent contractors.
These independent contractors are not employees of AOW. Any agreements, contracts, or services entered into or provided by these independent contractors are entirely separate from AOW, and AOW does not assume any liability or responsibility for their actions, services, or products. The relationship between visitors and independent contractors is solely between the parties involved, and AOW is not a party to such relationships.
Release of Liability for In-Person/Outdoor Events:
Before attending some in-person events at AOW, visitors may be required to sign a release of liability, commonly referred to as a liability waiver. This release of liability is a legal document in which visitors acknowledge the risks and potential hazards associated with the event and agree not to hold AOW liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during or as a result of attending the event.
Visitors are strongly advised to read and understand the release of liability thoroughly before signing. By participating in some of AOW's in-person/outdoor events, visitors voluntarily assume all risks associated with the event and agree to release AOW from any liability.
Please consult with legal counsel if you have any questions or concerns about the release of liability or any other legal matters related to AOW's services or events.
